Shepherds Pie: Beef & Vegan




For the dish I used a store bought puff pastry, make sure to thaw it out way before you want to use it. For the filling I mixed zucchini, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, peas, corn, butternut squash. To make the mixture thicker, I add in a few tablespoons of flour. For the filling I cooked all the items on the stovetop and then place them into a foil dish, covered with the puff pastry. Make sure to place slits on the top of the puff pastry so air can get through and some sea salt for flavor. I used ground beef for one of them and left the other with just vegetables. place in the oven on 325, for about 25 minutes making sure not to burn the dish.
