Spaghetti & Salad Dinner

This is such an easy and a yummy dinner anyone can pull off. First I used fettucini noodles, this gives the whole dish a different texture. I boiled the noodles on the stove, making sure to season the water with salt and olive oil. Next for the meat sauce I first sauteed some tomatoes and onions. Next I added in some cut up red bell peppers and minced garlic. Once the mixture is sauteed I added in about a half pound of ground beef. I seasoned the beef with some salt, pepper, tumeric and paprika. Lastly I had some softened up tomatoes in the fridge that I wanted to use so I cut them up and placed them into the pot, creating a home made red sauce of my own.

For the salad I decided that a chopped salad would go perfect with the heaviness of the pasta. So I chopped up some lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. For the dressing I made a lemon vinaigrette. To do so in a tupperware container I add in some lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, and lastly some dijon mustard. Once all the ingredients are in the container, put on the lid and shake it up until everything looks mixed together.

For the bread, I used what I had in the freezer to create a garlic bread. rub some fresh garlic cloves on the bread, drizzle a little bit of olive oil and sprinkle on some paprika, oregano, salt and pepper.
